In the first trailer for “Tarot” (formerly known as “Horrorscope”), eerie voices chant a foreboding message:
“Welcome to the circle. One more at the heart. With this final card, your meeting will start.”
The voices caution against unfamiliar tarot decks, hinting at the dangerous consequences.
The question hangs ominously: whose face will they see in their final moments—The Hermit, Magician, High Priestess, or Death?
As the friends enjoy using the deck of cards, they read aloud the rule about not using a stranger’s deck.
Larsen Thompson remarks on the terrifying nature of it all with a smile, while, others shrug off the warning.
Climbing a ladder, Larsen discovers a room filled with flickering candles. Then, she encounters a tarot card depicting the High Priestess.
Startled by the sight of the demonic visual, she loses her footing and falls from the ladder.
Suddenly, something crashes down from above and douses her in blood. Next, the blood splashes on her cellphone, which had just rung with a call from her friend Alex.
Larsen Thompson Might Be A Survivor Or Sacrifice To The Deck
The role of Lauren Thompson in ‘Tarot’ is kept under wraps, but the trailer hints her character splashed with blood, possibly indicating her demise.
Additionally, it turns out Thompson’s character gets the High Priestess card, which symbolizes that it can bring a dead friend back to life.
The review team of Road To Peace Films finds it entirely plausible that Larsen Thompson’s character may not be dead, especially considering how trailers can sometimes mislead audiences.
She could either survive the ominous events through some protection from the evil eye, or she might become a sacrifice to the mysterious rules of the deck.
Additionally, director Spenser Cohen shot two endings for “Tarot,” with one left unused, adding to the speculation about the character’s fate.
Given the story’s mysterious and suspenseful nature, audiences will have to watch the movie to discover her character’s ultimate destiny.
